Hi Jeremy, I just found your blogs today and have enjoyed catching up. I, too, live in Texas (close to Waco) and I travel quite a bit around the state for work. I'm in Austin often. I'm also on a weight loss journey this year, so reading your blog is inspiring to me. wishing you success!

get back on that horse jeremy! you know what works for you & what doesn't - avoid what doesn't & jump all over what does. have you thought about joining a training group? many days when i don't feel like working out i go because i've got a group or someone else expecting me - a workout partner(s) are invaluable for helping you stay on track & motivated.

as for a charity - what got me started was the leukemia & lymphoma society. it's a great organization & helps so many people. not to mention their team-in-training program - this may be perfect for you! also high on my list are the susan komen foundation, the walter payton foundation, & the lance armstrong foundation. each of these groups help fight cancers & are also big supporters of so many race (healthy) activities!
